
LAMB BALLS WITH YOGHURT SAUCE
Ingredients,
Lamb or chicken mince 500 Grams,
Fennel seeds1 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1tbsp
Fresh ginger paste 1tbsp
Cloves 3
Green cardamon 3
Black cardamon 1
Rape seed oil 2tbsp
Cinnamon stick 1/2
Bay leaves 3
Full fat yogurt 250 grams
Black cumin seeds
Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
1) roast the cumin and fennel seeds for 1 to 2 minutes and grind those to powder and keep aside.
2) put mince in a bowl and add tsp full of oil and make 8 to 10 meat balls and keep aside.
3) put a medium sized pan on cooker medium heat add the oil ,when oil gets warm add the cloves,after a minute or so add 500 millilitre of cold water until it is just warm not boiling ,then add meat balls and make sure they are covered with water . Boil the meat balls on medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes .
4) add the freshly ground cumin and fennel ,cinnamon stick ,seeds of black cardamon and ginger paste.Add the bay leaves.
5) Whisk yogurt in a bowl and add to the pan .Add salt to taste.
Cover the pan and boil until the sauce thickens ,remove lid put crushed green cardamon and garam masala ,black cumin seeds and cover
Serve with freshly cooked rice or naan bread .
